Help me setting up my internet connection to R1

Hi,

I have brought this device bcos i hear that it takes 90% less power than my computer, now a days i keep my computer switched on jst to download Torrents.

I have a internet connections which requires username and password to access the internet I tried connecting my modem directly to R1 and went to setup but didn't find any place where i can give username and password

So, Did do something wrong i don't know how to connect can you guys please help me configuring my R1 so that i can download from my R1 and stop downloading from my computer

I have upgraded my firmware to 1.0.3.8 and waiting for your guidelines to configure my R1 to achieve downloading torrents from R1

i suppose it depends on your router to allow R1 to connect with it.
DO you have enable your DHCP server? if your router has....
also you have a wireless router or a cable one?

The R1 con not connect to the internet directly.
You will have to buy a router that either has a modem included or can use your existing modem to connect to the ISP.
Do you know what protocol your ISP uses to connect? (e.g. PPPoE)

Dear sir
 
Firstly,you have to install BTsamba in the HDD at first.
secondly,Connect it on the router!
Please read the manual (in the cd)carefully!
